Something that has challenged me is thinking of the words I want to write. 

technology

I am learning to create something in technology to fix a problem in the bush. My idea is saving the bush. My question was How can we stop the pests?
Jacob and I worked together to make a prototype to trap or kill possums. We used some materials that were siting on the table that were care bored (cardboard) boxes, milk bottle lids, tooth sticks, plastic straws. The possum trap me and Jacob made was a trap that didn't kill possums straight away but it kept them trapped for a long time then the possums wood die from hunger. The thing that challenged me was figuring out what we could use to make the door drop down when the possum goes inside the trap. We used leaves to make the possum want to go inside because the leaves are possum food. I am proud of our technology invention because of all the thinking we did to make our prototype work to catch possums.

The possum goes in the point end then the trap door comes down to trap them inside.

                                                                                                                                                                               

Omatua Camp

Camp was half awesome because of all the fun activities. The thing that scared me the most was eating something with a blind fold on at the fear factor because I had no idea what I was going to eat. I was so excited to go to Camp because I thought all the activities I would enjoy. The thing that challenged me is making the catapult in a team. We had to make the catapult out of plastic straws two small Popsicle stick and one big Popsicle stick and we had some tape and newspaper. We were trying to fling the ping pong ball in the air for 40 seconds.When we where playing spotlight Mrs Ramsay group where hiding first . My group where the first group to find Mrs Ramsay group in the tall grass. My group where hiding near the stairs going  down to the bottom grass behind the wall.
